If you can believe it... the Cushman clan made it through another open house/reception. This year has been filled with 2 weddings, 2 receptions, and 2 open houses. I feel like we can all breathe a little. Even though it has been crazy for everyone especially mama and papa Cush we have great memories from all of these events. Kaylie and Jonathan's open house was beautiful! Before they came into town we worked on the yard quite a bit since it was going to be an outdoor event. We were laying mulch and pine straw in a crazy rain, thunder, and lightning storm even. I helped make dipped strawberries and cookies but the other food that they made was amazing. It was an Italian theme so we had brushetta, pizza, Italian sodas, and bread dipped with balsamic vinegar and oil The lights in the backyard were amazing and it was a perfect night. We were a little concerned about the weather considering it was a 60% chance of rain but the storm passed us and it turned out perfect! The Cushmans had amazing friends who flew in to help and we wouldn't have been able to do it without them... especially you Suzie! Congrats Kaylie and Jonathan! We had a blast having you stay at our place too!
Ryan is from Atlanta, Georgia and served a mission in Kyiv, Ukraine. I am from Seattle, Washington. Even though we were on opposite sides of the U.S we met in the small town of Rexburg. We dated for a year and then got married on December 22nd, 2006. We went to BYU Idaho.. the best school ever :) and graduated together in April 2009. We moved to Georgia and couldn't be more happy. On December 19th, 2010, our baby girl Avery was born and it was the best day of our lives. We are excited to bring another girl into this world in April. Ryan is working for a large chemical company. I am a stay at home momma and run my own business as a piano teacher and am loving every minute of it. We love being married, playing with our beautiful baby girl, watching college football together, going on vacations to the beach, and being with our families! We hope you enjoy a small glimpse into our crazy life!
