El Christgiving {A Texas Thanksgiving and Christmas}

My mom found out she has Endometrial Cancer in October.  She had surgery on October 29th and found out that in addition to that cancer she also has Fallopian Tube Cancer, a very rare and aggressive cancer. She would need to start chemo the first week in December.  Our family was very saddened by the news but full of Faith that she WILL fight this.  Because of the news, our entire family decided last minute to all meet up in Texas for a week to enjoy Thanksgiving and an early Christmas.  We had the greatest time all together.  One of the major highlights was allowing all the Sweetwood cousins to be reunited.  They were so sweet together and full of energy!!  While there, we enjoyed lots of yummy foods (including the most delicious Mexican food for Thanksgiving.  Super nontraditional but super fun for Ryan's 30th bday.), shopping, seeing Frozen, playing Football, taking family pictures, early Christmas, and watching Ohio State beat their rival Michigan.  It was much needed family time for all of us and I hate that it so rarely happens where all of us are together at once. God really knew what He was doing when He gave me my family. I love them dearly and I know that my momma is being watched over right now.  And now... the picture overload...
We drove through the night and the babes did amazing!
