On December 30th, Avery was blessed in our home. It was the best day ever. Her daddy gave her a beautiful blessing and we were so lucky to have family and our bishop and his wife there. The spirit was so powerful and I felt that Heavenly Father loves her so very much and will bless her for the rest of her life. It was very emotional to hear the words in the blessing and for Ryan and I to hold our newly blessed child in our arms together. After the blessing we of course stuffed our faces with delicious food. Ryan and I ordered bbq from Shane's Rib Shack and my mom slaved in the kitchen all day making yummy desserts. Everything was perfect and I feel so grateful to have such a wonderful family to have shared this special day with. Avery, you are so loved and bring so much joy to your mom and dad. You truly are our little miracle and we thank Heavenly Father every day for sending you to us.

Oh my goodness, the picture of Avery and her Oma is priceless. They are smiling at each other, what a beautiful image. It's going to be hard for both your parents to come home, isn't it?
Ok, I am fairly certain that it is illegal for anyone to look that good that quickly after having a baby. What the heck??

Seriously how are you SO tiny. You JUST had her!!! You look fabulous and that little girl is so precious. How fun to celebrate Christmas with her. Cute cute little family!
