I didn't have to teach late yesterday...which was glorious...so we actually got to go out and do something for FHE. Last week a friend, her baby, Avery, and I went to a beautiful park close by and I have been dying to take Ryan to it. So yesterday we brought turkey avocado sandwiches, fresh pineapple, chips, and brownies to the park and had our 1st picnic of the year. We then walked almost 3 miles around the whole park. Despite it being almost 90 degrees during the day, it had cooled off a little and we were able to enjoy the sun setting. We then came back home and watched the finale of Amazing Race and....gave Avery her first try of rice cereal. It was a good day.

ok first of all, i want to go to that park with you. second of all (is that proper english??) i love that video. most amazing part is how entertained you and ryan are :) isn't being a parent so fun??? :)
haha i love her reaction to that rice cereal... like, "what the heck are you putting in my mouth... are you expecting me to swallow this?" haha i want to meet her!
Don't you just love the warm weather here in the south? The water here in the gulf is already warm! So glad you were able to go on a walk. They are so much fun! Wish I could join ya!
