Avery turned 5 months today! I can't believe it! No stats for this month however, I think she is finally 13 pounds but I could be wrong. She is teething...bah...last night she skipped her night feeding and cried herself to sleep, it was sad but she seems to be in less pain today. Because of her teething she has been super drooly. She is getting really good at sitting up, I will support her but sometimes when I let go she sits on her own and she props herself up with her hands. We are going to try veggies this week hopefully! She got an accidental lick of strawberry jam from my finger yesterday and she totally loved it kicking her feet and screaming with joy. I have separation issues with her at night, she still sleeps in our walk-in closet (yes Ryan says she is like Harry Potter and is shunned to the closet...I swear it is spacious!) I just can't get myself to let her sleep in her own room at bedtime. During the day she sleeps in her room though. She loves having me help her walk. She is too lazy to roll over anymore. She loves books. She jumps every time daddy burps...rude I know! She always tries to watch tv with us. She is such a happy baby. Avery we love you!
For her 5 month birthday we got together with her BFF Alexa who is only 3 weeks younger than Avery. The missionaries introduced me to Jackie (mom) and Alexa just a couple of weeks ago and we all clicked right away! She lives in the same apartments so it is so fun just taking walks together or going to the pool with the babes. Today the pool was closed so we went to City Hall and played in the fountains. It is so fun just to have some girl time!
