On Monday, we had a pre-birthday party for Avery. We are waiting to do her actual party on the 27th so that her Cushman side aunts and uncles could be here. First, her best friend Alexa came over and they gave her a cupcake and gifts, which she loved. They then had a blast getting into trouble and staring out the window together. Scary part of the day was when Alexa fell down 11 stairs at my house. It was scary and luckily she is ok! After that, the Cushmans came over where we enjoyed Avery's favorite meal, homade chicken nuggets, mac'n'cheese, and canned corn, opened presents, played with Mr. Teddy, and ate cookies. Happy 1st birthday....just wait until your special birthday party next week, mommy has been planning it for way too long!
Avery got these special blocks from her auntie Kaylie in the mail. Aren't they amazing?!
