Seriously, I cannot believe it has been 2 years?! How did this go by so fast...slow down!  

Avery, you have turned quite into the little character.  You talk like crazy, non-stop just like mommy!  You know what you want and you are sure to tell us, you bossy little thing!  You love to sing and dance and are getting really into princess things, especially Tangled.  You also really like cars, airplanes, and trains...you're a good mix.  You love running, swinging, and going down the slide.  You say the sweetest prayers all on your own ("Heavenly Father, thank you Jesus, daddy, mommy, Avery, baby, and then continue to pray about anything that happened during the day or anything you see in the room you're in).  You are addicted to "shows" and mommy is trying to be better about that...maybe when I'm not pregnant? Here's to hopeful thinking!  You know when you are making "bad choices" but you do it anyways to see our reaction.  You love giving big squeezes and kisses.   Some of the really funny things you say right now are: "yay, nap time! (you absolutely love going to bed and beg us to go night night you crazy girl!), sure, peace out Nomie (which should be homie but you call your cousin Nomie, so you're kinda stuck on it), I freaked out, off the carpet Brylee (Lolly and Pop's dog), it's freezing in here, stinky bum...pu." Of course we absolutely love when you say, hi mommy/daddy, love you, have fun, cya soon/later.  We are still working on colors, sometimes you get them right but I can't tell if it's just a coincidence, you count to 10 but always miss the number 6.  Oh, and you keep saying you're 4 instead of 2.  You still don't do well with lots of children around and get scared of random people but then loved Santa.  You get major anxiety at church but are getting better each week in Nursery...sorry mommy forces you to go, but it's good for you!  Your best little friends are Alexa, Brody, and Beckham.  You are so lucky to live with mommy, daddy, Lolly, Pop, and Summer.  You love all the attention which will be a tough transition when baby sister comes, but you'll get used to it and I know you'll love it!  In general, you are pretty happy and crazy outgoing at home.  You sure do keep mommy on her toes though.  We love you so much Avery! Happy 2nd birthday!

For your birthday yesterday you asked to see Santa at the mall again, and then at night the whole family went out to chick-fil-a, saw Christmas lights, opened presents, and ate "cream-cream".  You were such a happy girl that we let you watch Tangled with your new Rapunzel doll and matching outfit from Oma and Opa.  You were in heaven and got to stay up super late!  It was a good day!
