Christmas Sunday

 Christmas Eve: 

Went out to eat to Carrabbas with the fam...

 Baked sugar cookies for Santa...

Tried to take pictures...

 Nice try Summer...

 Played Christmas songs with Chimes...

 Opened sibling gifts and jammies...

 Christmas Morning...

Ryan and I had been soooo excited for Christmas this year! We both said that we haven't been this excited since we were young kids.  We just couldn't wait for Avery to get all of her presents!  We ended up waking Avery up at around 9 because we couldn't wait any longer!  She had been telling us all week that Santa Clause was coming to town and that he was going to bring her candy and she would open presents.  So fun for her to be understanding the concept so young!  We also felt bad that everything was so worldly so we made sure she understood that it was Jesus's birthday.  She would say, "Happy Birthday Jesus!"

Avery got spoiled by all of our families and got so many gifts...here's Santa's loot..

 She seriously was so happy with all the candy and toys in her stocking she would've been fine without anything else!

  This was the big present.  Lolly, pop, Ryan, and I went in together and bought....

 The rest of the day was spent with family, eating the most delicious brunch prepared by Lolly and Pop, playing games, and going to the theater.

It's hard to not be able to be with all/both of our families together during the Holidays but I still feel so blessed that we were able to spend Christmas with the smaller Cushman clan.  While most of our celebrations were around presents and Santa this year, we are truly grateful for the life of our Savior Jesus Christ and the blessings we have.  From our family to yours, Merry Christmas!
